MY SERVICES

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
In your first session, we will discuss your current situation, your background and your needs to develop an individualised treatment plan. I offer a neurodiversity-affirming approach to individuals that have a diagnosis or wish to explore whether neurodiversity fits for them.
Individual therapy is provided via Telehealth. Telehealth is available with either a valid mental health care plan, or private health insurance and attracts the same rebates as face-to-face appointments. NDIS also have provision for Telehealth.

PARENT WORK
Therapy for parents of children experiencing mental health difficulties, neurodiversity, or disability offers support in managing the unique challenges they face, such as stress, guilt, and emotional exhaustion. It helps parents develop coping strategies, understand their child's needs, develop tailored successful parenting strategies and navigate the complexities of advocating for their child's well-being while maintaining their own mental health.

OLDER ADOLESCENTS & YOUNG ADULTS
Therapy for young adults navigating life transitions, school stress, and relationship challenges offers support and coping strategies. It helps manage anxiety, improve time management, and reduce overwhelm from school. Therapy also enhances communication, boundary-setting, and relationship understanding, while encouraging self-reflection on values and identity, fostering resilience and emotional regulation.

PERI-NATAL & INFANT MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Therapy for perinatal mental health supports individuals during pregnancy and postpartum, addressing challenges like attachment, anxiety, depression, and stress. It provides a safe space to explore emotions, manage overwhelm, and develop coping strategies while adjusting to changes in identity and lifestyle. The goal is to promote well-being and resilience during this life transition.

REFLECTIVE FAMILY PLAY THERAPY
RFP is a new approach that requires specific training to explore and expand on areas of strength as well as facilitate change in areas of difficulties experiences by young family systems. As the name suggests it incorporates play therapy, family therapy and reflection techniques and is best suited to families with children aged between 2 and 9 years of age.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Clinical supervision for social workers provides guidance, support, and professional development, helping them enhance their practice, address challenges, and ensure ethical and effective service delivery. This can be counted towards CPD requirements for membership with the AASW.
